Terms of Service for your membership
By purchasing this product, you will become a member of NSC Coaching Kit Bag and are agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions as outlined below. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you must cease to continue to purchase this product.
1. Definitions
“Materials” means the information provided by North Star Coaching Ltd as part of the Services in electronic form.
“Payment” means the fees paid by you to North Star Coaching Ltd for the Services.
“Membership” means access by you to the provision of online Materials by North Star Coaching Ltd which you engage with remotely.
“Services” means the provision of the online Materials together with such other services as agreed from time to time and purchased by you through the learning platform.
“Learning Platform” means https://northstarcoachingltd.vipmembervault.com/
“You” means the individual purchasing the Services.
2. The Product and Services
2.1. The purpose of this Membership is to support, guide and develop the coaching practice of qualified coaches through a 12-month programme of online materials.
2.2. North Star Coaching Ltd provides no face-to-face services for the duration of the Membership. If this is something you wish to explore, find out more here www.northstarcoaching.org.uk
2.3. It is your responsibility to put into action the learnings and activities within the Membership and beyond. North Star Coaching Ltd does not guarantee that any specific outcome, professional qualification, or employment opportunity will be achieved from your purchase and completion of any of the Services.
3. Rules of Use
3.1. Memberships are personal and for individual use only.
3.2. You must be aged 18 years or older.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. The fees for the Services are set out on the learning platform. Unless otherwise specified at the time you purchase the services the fees are inclusive of VAT.
4.2. Payment will be taken on sign up pur payment gateway Stripe. This payment will set up your monthly standing order. If no payment is received, no content will be released.
4.3. You will receive a grace period of 28 days to reinstate payment and continue the services, after which time, services will be terminated according to termination policy below.
4.4. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 states that entering this agreement as a consumer you have the right to this cancel within 14 days of registration. However, you hereby give express consent to waive this 14-day right to a refund due to the immediately available nature of the digital content.
4.5. No refunds are available at any time.
5. Cancellation
5.1. Services may be cancelled at any time during the 12-month programme.
5.2. Cancellation request triggers a 28 days’ notice period, during which time no new content will be made available to you but you can still access your member area to download and make use of the materials paid for to date.
6. Data Protection
6.1. North Star Coaching Ltd maintains procedures for protecting personal information in compliance with applicable law, GDPR regulations and the North Star Coaching Privacy Policy (available on request).
6.2. You will automatically receive email communications from North Star Coaching Ltd in relation the membership and future marketing material. You can unsubscribe from these at any time.
7. Liabilities and Limitations
7.1. North Star Coaching Ltd offers contents and services on “as is” basis. The company accepts no liability for your interpretation, implementation or application of the contents provided.
7.2. Although North Star Coaching Ltd aims to provide the services to the highest standards of the industry it does not accept any liability for (i) any inaccuracy or misleading information provided in the Materials and any reliance by you on any such information, (ii) any loss or corruption of data, (iii) any loss of profit, revenue or goodwill, or (iv) any indirect, special or consequential loss arising from any breach of the terms of this Agreement.
7.3. No claim may be brought more than six months after the last date on which the Services concerned have finished or ceased to be provided by us.
8. Copyright Exemption
8.1. Materials provided within the Services which draw on the creative work of other people are clearly acknowledged and referenced.
8.2. The purpose of including the Materials is to quote, critique or review their suitability for contemporary coaching practice and in most cases recommend their further exploration by you. The use of the Materials is therefore deemed fair and not in commercial competition with the copyright owner.
8.3. The Materials are available to the public at large from numerous other sources and are provided free of charge by North Star Coaching Ltd.

9. Termination
9.1. North Star Coaching Ltd reserves the right to terminate a service if you are found to be in breach of these terms and conditions.
9.2. On termination, you will no longer have access to the services, with immediate effect.
10. Complaints
10.1 Catherine Hulme, owner of North Star Coaching Ltd, is a member of International Federation of Coaching and the Association For Coaching and abides by the Global Code of Ethics.

11. Changes To Membership Terms
North Star Coaching Ltd is free to unilaterally change the services terms and conditions which, unless otherwise stated, will take effect immediately. You will be notified when this occurs.
