ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Catherine Hulme.
I am a qualified professional coach.
I help people to get things done, to make physical and emotional change in their personal and professional lives.
Like the North Star which can be a constant guide on a physical journey, we all have the internal knowledge to navigate our way through life's decisions and challenges, big and small, but we sometimes need help to see it.
My coaching sessions work around the three objectives of giving you:
Awareness
What do I want?
What do I value?
What is getting in my way?
Authenticity
Which of my options feels like the right path for me?
How can I avoid doing things just because other people want me to?
Helping you find and follow your internal North Star.
What does coaching look like?
Not sure what to expect from a session with me, then read on...
Your coaching sessions are a dedicated time and a confidential, non-judgemental space, for you. My questioning and structuring of the conversation will help you explore your choices, motivations and values. I will ask you to consider the possible consequences so you are fully aware of the potential impact of any decisions you make.
This self-awareness becomes the basis for setting your own self-driven targets at the end of each session. I do not give advice. I help you to find your own answers. You walk away feeling clear and confident about what to do because the choices are yours, based on YOU. As a result, my clients see real, tangible improvement in their lives. They feel more in control and have the sense that they are moving forwards towards the place or person they really want to be.
The outcomes of your sessions will be practical, and you will walk away with clear actions to steer you towards your internal North Star.

What Catherine's clients have said...
“It feels good to be listened to properly and not be rushed into saying anything. I like the way Catherine recalls our previous conversation in an appropriate way and sometimes stops and repeats
her understanding of what I have said. This enables me to feel heard and understood whilst also making me feel supported in a non-judgmental way”
Jane A
“Often when you have a conversation, the other person has things they want to get across but the coaching conversation was purely about what I wanted to talk about...
Catherine allowed me to
explore things without feeling rushed and responded to what I spoke about rather than having any alternative agenda that we had to get through.”
Mrs W
“I ended up, as I have with all of the sessions, with a list of small, achievable actions and the confidence that I had come up with those ideas, I had just needed some support to refine my thinking into things I could achieve. One of the things I listed was actually just seeking reassurance that I was doing the right thing but it felt good to have had the opportunity to articulate this rather than grappling about whether I should do that or no”
John S
“Coaching is a great way to consider issues that perhaps we don’t ordinarily make space for in a busy day. Everyone should have a coach!””
